How To Get Facebook Likes Fast

Facebook Like

How would you like to get thousands of Facebook Likes before the end of the week?

No joke, I guarantee that ANYBODY who reads this post will be able to get literally thousands of Facebook Likes before the end of the week.

First of all, I want to be sure to go over a few reasons why Facebook Likes are so important.  There are several reasons why you should want people to Like your Facebook page, and it definitely matters where those Likes come from.

There are two main reasons why you should want people to Like your Facebook page:

1.) Social Proof – When people see that others (especially their friends) Like your page, they are more likely to Like it themselves.

2.) Promotions – When a person Likes your Facebook page, they are essentially giving you permission to promote to them.  We’ll talk about how you can do this later on in this post.

Alright… if you’re just looking for a little social proof to kick start your page, you can get it for just 5 bucks.  Just watch this short video to find out how to get hundreds or even thousands of Facebook Likes in a matter of days…

Okay, sounds pretty simple, right?  Well, it is.  However, there are some drawbacks to buying Facebook Likes.

Buying Facebook Likes will give you some social proof, but that kind of social proof isn’t as powerful as organically generated Likes.

Organic Facebook Likes

Facebook will show your page visitors exactly which of their friends already Like your page.  It’s good when people that visit your page see that others already Like it, but it’s GREAT when they see that their friends Like it.

Organic Likes are also incredibly helpful if you’re buying Facebook ads.  Part of the reason why Facebook ads can be more effective than other online ads is the social proof that they offer.  Facebook will show anybody that sees your ad which of their friends already Like your page, making that individual more likely to click on the ad.

Collecting Likes organically doesn’t just offer more social proof than buying Likes, it also improves the effectiveness of your Facebook promotions.

Using Facebook As A Promotional Tool

You can use Facebook as a promotional tool, without buying Facebook ads.  Keep in mind, though, that your promotions aren’t going to be nearly as effective if you buy Likes instead of collecting them organically.

You want to appear in as many targeted newsfeeds as possible.

FB Newsfeed

When a person Likes your Facebook page, they are essentially telling Facebook that they want your posts to show up in their newsfeed.

You should want as many people as possible to Like your Facebook page, so your posts show up in as many newsfeeds as possible.  However, it doesn’t do you much good to show up in a person’s newsfeed unless they actually want to hear from you.

The only way that your posts are going to show up in the right newsfeeds is if you collect Likes organically.  Buying Likes won’t help you very much in this regard.

Facebook Events can be a very powerful way to reach your fans.

Once again, this will only be helpful if you’ve built a following of people that legitimately Like your page and want to hear from you…

When you’re logged into Facebook on your personal profile, you have the option of sending out a direct message to all of your friends.  Unfortuantely, you don’t have the option to send out direct messages when you’re logged in as your Facebook page.

On the plus side, there is a way to get a message to all of the people that Like your Facebook page.  You can do this by creating a Facebook Event.

Even though Facebook won’t allow you to directly message everyone that Likes your page, you can invite everyone that Likes your page to an event.  This basically accomplishes the same thing as a direct message.

FB Event

There are a few things that you should keep in mind when creating a Facebook Event.

  • First of all, the event doesn’t have to be taking place at a physical location.  You can easily create a Facebook Event for an online album launch, to promote a new digital music download, to promote your YouTube channel, etc.
  • Be sure to create the event several weeks ahead of time.  Your fans will get a notification as soon as you invite them to the event…

  • …they will also see a reminder in the top right corner of their homepage when the date gets closer. AND it will stay there until the event date passes as long as there isn’t another event coming up sooner.

So, if you want to go buy a bunch of Facebook Likes, that’s great.  It can give your page a bit of social proof very quickly.  Just remember that you need organically generated Likes if you really want to use Facebook effectively to promote your music.  Personally, I focus on collecting organic Likes [ hint, hint :-) ].
